Thanks very much, Peter. Tim was a fixture in the golf media landscape for a long time. He will be missed. If you haven't seen it, Jim McCabe on powerfades.com did a fine story on the friendship between Tim and Craig.Dolch, a south Florida newspaperman whose son has had a really rough go. They really were there for one another.
Another interesting piece, thank you. A nice way to look at a human life--everything that person has seen! And who knew the Haas's were related to Goalby? Not this golfer.
Thanks, Roland. Once, in 1985, Bob G, Jay H and Jay's younger brother Jerry all played in the Masters. That was something ... three members of one family in the same Masters. Believe Jerry, an amateur at the time, got in that year for being on the Walker Cup team, which for a long time was an exemption category.
Great article Bill, the best I’ve read on Bob Goalby!
Thanks for your support, Marian!
Happy New Year Bill. Another interesting article Bill. Keep up the good work. My condolences on the loss of your colleague, Tim Rosaforte.

Nice piece as always, Bill. Mr. Goalby seemed to be misunderstood by many in the game but in fact was a real solid guy. RIP.
Thanks, John. Loved talking to Goalby about the old days.
