The azaleas are extra-pretty at the Masters this year, a paint store of color, which would have pleased Bert Yancey because he loved the tournament as few have.

Yancey would be an old man now had he been gifted a longer life, but he died of a heart attack at age 56 in 1994 as he warmed up for a tournament round in Utah. I never met Yancey, only glimpsing…
